Book Review – How Do You Kill 11 Million People

Kill 11 millTitle: How Do You Kill 11 Million People

Author: Andy Andrews

I know. Not a very inviting title and those of you who are familiar with Andy Andrews are probably wondering why he would write a book with this kind of title. This is not the normal Andy Andrews book.

The best way I can tell you what this book is about is to tell you what Andy writes on the inside flap of the book.

“Several years ago I asked myself three questions: Where do we begin to find common ground in regard to what we want (or don’t want) for the future of America? Is it possible to write something that doesn’t use the words Republican or Democrat, Liberal or Conservative, yet conveys a message with which everyone could agree? Can it be written in a concise fashion allowing anyone to read it, clearly understand the message, and be empowered in less than fifteen minutes? Here, then, are my answers to these questions.” – Andy Andrews

I read the book over a year ago when in first came out in January of 2012 and just finished re-reading it a second time.  I am still amazed about the amount of amazing information that is in such a short book.  Andy talks about how, during World War II, Hitler murdered 11 million Jews. Not the methods used to perform the actual act of murder but the tactics used that caused so many people to allow them selves to be in that situation.

In the book Andy Andrews explains what he has found in researching the time period and reading first hand accounts of Hitler’s speeches and private conversations as well as other the accounts of others.  Andy explains how Hitler and the other Nazis simply lied to the jews and made them believe they had the jews’ best interest in mind.  Because this lie was so convincing the people simply did what they were told.

Here is a video interview Michael Hyatt did with Andy Andrews back when the book was first released
